ONLINE August 25, 2009 - Justin Rasch, an animator living and working in the LA, has won $2,500 in the fourth SuperU.ca and TAC.tv Animation contest for his film “Gerald's Last Day”. The animated short, chosen by an expert panel of judges, will also have the chance to be broadcast on Super Channel.
The jury was comprised of Tom Schroede instructor at Minnesota College of Art and Design, Neil Burns Director of Canada’s only feature-length stop motion feature, “Edison & Leo” and Hugo Caron of Salambo Productions and TAC.tv.
This marks the fourth and final animation contests presented by SuperU.ca and online animation heavy-hitter TAC.tv. The best animated short in each contest will win $2,500, be featured on TAC.tv and have a chance for broadcast on Super Channel.
