One of the world's highest, less known, and most amazing pilgrimages - which unfortunately has started to change by the effects of global warming.
An amazing experience for anyone with the strength to handle 16,000ft above sea level. This pilgrimage, hidden away in the middle of the Peruvian Andes mountains, represents the fusion between the ancestral elements of nature and catholic regime. The journey to the God of the Snow Mountain happens once a year in the most incredible setting. Unfortunately, due to global warming, part of the ritual ceased to exist the year we were there. I have heard the ice caves featured in the video are melting at a very rapid pace. This short documentary is a tribute, and an "archive", of what will no longer exist in the next few years.
